I just wanted to post an update on what’s planned for the next month with regards to creation of content for the gyroplane online training.
After taking some time to carefully go through the U.S FAA knowledge testing guide that’s a requirement to get your Sport Pilot (gyroplane) license in America, we’ve come to the realisation that there are some differences between what the FAA covers in it’s theory testing for gyroplane pilots, and what gets tested in other countries like Australia and the U.K.
So what we’re going to do is create a separate course for U.S students. The aim of this course is to focus on those areas that get tested when you sit for the theory exam as part of the requirements for your Sport Pilot license for gyroplanes.
You can see what the initial outline for this course will look like by visiting this link.
There is obviously going to be some cross over between this course and the Basic Aeronautical Knowledge course, but this way U.S student pilots can get a better understanding of exactly what topics are covered in their test, and prepare themselves accordingly. This course will be included as part of your package. Students outside the U.S might not want to use it, but you’ll have access to it either way.
So for the next month I’m going to be focusing on getting started on the creation of this theory material.
I’ll begin by creating content that can be placed into both courses, before moving onto the content that is specific to each course.
So by the end of November there’ll be plenty of theory content available for you to go through no matter which country you’re from.
If you have any questions about any of that feel free to get in touch with us.
